Here are the modules within AMIGO that fall under this auspice.


Programs, or referred to as the Program Level, are the buckets that reside within a portfolio, yet house all the projects within a program. The third highest node within the AMIGO platform gives the flexibility of budgeting per program (then down through projects) while cascading up the estimates versus actuals from the work packages, deliverables, to the project(s) up to the program financials (benefits tracking). 


Projects, or referred to as the Project Level, are the buckets that reside within a program, yet house all the deliverables and work packages within a project. This level is where most users will reside within the AMIGO platform. This is where the rubber meets the road in terms of execution and financial reclamation within programs and projects. 


Within the project level resides deliverables. These are the larger bucketed parts of work (built of some or many work packages) that help evaluate a project both in the timeline and in budgetary aspects. Through a culmination of work packages, within the AMIGO platform, the work package level is where the costs (estimates and actuals) are realized. 

Work Packages

This is the granular level or actual work to be accomplished within a program or project. Within the AMIGO platform, this is also where the cost (estimates and actuals) are assigned, and how the individual user will generate time tracking within their time reports (invoices). Lastly, this is where the RACI matrix within the platform is most coveted. 


The creation of gates is a project-level module that allows for the naming, description, phase, or milestone application within the AMIGO platform. It is applicable to the governance, and the operational readiness cutover processes portions of the platform. 

Gate Metrics and Results

This module is a project-level addendum to a specific gate (that is assigned within this module). Definition of specific metric, readiness metric, source, measurement, area and group associations, results (minimum and actual), documented evidence provide clarity throughout this process. 


A business object is an entity within a multitiered software application that works in conjunction with the data access and business logic layers to transport data. Within the AMIGO platform, this module allows for the definition of an object, and the associated program. 

Object Dependencies

This module within the AMIGO platform is where an object can be associated with a specific dependency. Allowing for further optics on the object and its place within an environment or organizational aspect. 

Change Request Log

Sometimes plans may go awry, askew, even sideways. When this occurs, there is a proper, rigid, governance-oriented way to ensure that the impact to other aspects of a program or project is not affected, while proper documentation is achieved with a stringent approval process in order to ensure this is not done without provocation.
